That parking garage app sent me to a full garage twice
I was in Denver last week and used the city's official parking app to find a spot near the convention center. It showed 14 open spaces at the garage on 15th Street, so I drove there and the gate was literally closed with a full sign. I circled for 20 minutes and ended up paying $38 for a lot that had a handwritten 'no vacancy' note taped to the machine. Has anyone else had a realtime availability feature that was just totally fake?

Wait, is that the ParkSmart app they push on the little signs near the garages? Cause I used that thing in Boulder once and it told me spots were open at the Pearl Street lot, but that lot has been under construction for months. Like, the app literally showed a green dot for a spot where there was a giant fence and a digger. I guess they just never update the data after they put it in, or maybe they count cars that have paid but already left? Either way, it's basically a random number generator at this point.
