Serious question, does anyone actually like infinite scroll on recipe sites, or am I the only one who hates it
Last month I was trying to find a simple pancake recipe on my phone during my break at work and I swear I scrolled for 5 solid minutes past the same three paragraphs of someone's life story before I even got to the ingredients. I finally gave up, hit the back button, and just guessed the ratios myself, and you know what, my pancakes turned out fine. Everyone online keeps saying infinite scroll is smoother and more modern, but for stuff like recipes it just means I can never find my place again if I lose the tab or my screen locks. I'll take a plain old numbered list with a jump to recipe button over endless scrolling any day, no matter how many designers tell me it feels better. The whole point is I want the info fast, not a bottomless feed that keeps loading more stuff I didn't ask for. Am I crazy here or does anyone else just want a normal page that ends when it ends?
