Serious question, did I really need to pay $89 for a year of that cloud storage app just to lose 200 voice memos?
I record voice memos for work ideas all the time and had about 400 of them saved in a free app. Back in January it started nagging me every single day that I was out of space, so I paid $89 for a year of the premium plan. Then last month I opened the app and every memo past number 210 was just gone, no warning, and support kept saying they could not recover files from a plan that old. I lost 8 months of notes about a side project and a whole list of interview questions I had been saving. The app never once showed me which 200 files were safe and which were at risk, it just hid them behind a paywall button. Has anyone found a recorder that actually shows you a real file list before it starts deleting stuff?
