Remembering the old forum software I had to pick for our club site

Back in 2015, our book club had to choose between the clunky, free 'ForumMax' or paying $120 a year for 'SimpleBoard'. We went with the free one, and the admin panel was a maze of nested menus that made updating the schedule a 10-minute chore. What was the worst admin interface you've ever had to deal with?

Our 2012 guild site had a worse admin panel than @the_eric's, I swear.

Ugh, that sounds like the forum software my old gaming clan used.

Actually, that old clan software was probably a step up from what we had. Our guild forum around 2010 ran on something truly ancient, almost like a message board from the early 2000s. The admin tools were so basic you could barely change a username. It makes the 2012 stuff people complain about now seem pretty good in comparison. You really had to work for the simplest changes back then.
