My food delivery app forced me to pick a tip before I could even see the order total
Last Thursday, I was trying to order lunch from a local spot. The app made me choose a tip percentage of 15%, 20%, or 25% right after I hit 'checkout', before it showed me the final price with fees. I picked 20% because I felt rushed, and the final bill was almost $8 higher than I expected due to a 'service fee' and delivery charge. It's a sneaky way to get more money from people. How is this legal? Has anyone found a way to see the full cost before tipping in these apps?

Almost $8 higher" is just a wild way to do business.

Wow, @lisa_henderson33, my buddy paid $12 more for the same pizza across the street.
