My aunt called me in a panic over her banking app's confusing interface.
She couldn't tell which button was for deposits or withdrawals.

Yeah, because what we really need is more security questions and less clear buttons. Next update they'll probably hide the deposit option behind a puzzle only tech people can solve. I feel for your aunt, and honestly @anna_henderson76 is right, it's a miracle our money is still there. You'd think making things easy to use would be the main point, not an afterthought.

Banks focus so much on security features (which is important, don't get me wrong) that they make the basic tasks hard. Your aunt's panic isn't just about buttons, it's about the fear of making a costly mistake with her money. Designers should test apps with real people who aren't tech experts (like, you know, actual customers). A simple color code or bigger text could prevent so much stress. It's crazy that something meant to help ends up causing worry instead. We need to push for simpler designs that put people first, not just flashy updates.

I've clicked the wrong button so many times, I'm surprised my account isn't empty!
