I finally turned off autoplay on my streaming app and my evenings feel 20 minutes longer
I got so tired of every show jumping to the next episode before I could grab the remote, so last week I went digging in the settings on my TV app. Turns out the toggle was buried three menus deep under "Playback" and labeled "Autoplay next episode," which took me 10 minutes to find because the help page pointed to a totally different screen. Before, I was losing about 20 minutes a night to shows I never picked, and after switching it off, I actually stop and decide what to watch next. Why do apps hide the simplest controls in the weirdest spots, and has anyone found an app that just puts this on the main settings page?
