Unpopular opinion: I picked a hand-drawn logo over a clean digital one for my shop

When I rebranded my auto shop last year, everyone told me to go with a sleek vector logo. But I chose a rough sketch done by a local artist instead. It took 6 months to get used to the uneven lines, but customers keep saying it feels honest and matches the vibe. I still wonder if the clean look would have been easier for signs and shirts though. Has anyone else gone against the grain with a rough logo and regretted it or not?

Those 6 months of getting used to it sound brutal though, hang in there because the payoff is so worth it when people get it.

Ain't it funny how the rough edges actually make things feel more real?
