Spotted a logo at my local diner that had 3 fonts crammed into one sign
I counted 5 different colors too, and the owner said he paid $400 for it 2 years ago, has anyone else seen a logo try to do TOO much at once?

has anyone else seen a logo try to do TOO much at once" - I mean, is it really that deep? lol. It's a diner sign, not a masterpiece at the Louvre. The owner probably just wanted something that stood out on the street and $400 for a sign is honestly pretty normal for a small business. So what if it's got 3 fonts and 5 colors? At least you remember it, right? There are way worse things to worry about in the world than a slightly overcrowded logo. Honestly I kinda dig that the guy just went for it and didn't overthink it.

Ha, I get what you're saying, but I gotta disagree a little! A logo is the first thing people see before they even taste the food, and if it's a mess, it kinda makes me wonder if the kitchen is a mess too. I'm not saying it needs to be a masterpiece, but there's a difference between standing out and just being loud. The $400 thing is fair, but that's all the more reason to spend it on something that actually works, not just something that's memorable for the wrong reasons. I respect the guy for not overthinking it, but a little thought goes a long way, you know?
