Paid a guy $300 on Fiverr for a logo and it came back as clip art with my initials slapped on it
I want to warn anyone here before you make the same mistake I did. Back in March I needed a logo for my pressure washing trailer and I figured hey, 300 bucks on Fiverr, how bad could it be. The guy sent me back a design in 4 days that was literally a cartoon water drop wearing sunglasses next to some generic bold text, and when I googled it I found the exact same water drop on a free clip art site from 2009. I asked for a revision and he just changed the font and sent it back like nothing happened. I ended up disputing it, got $150 back after 3 weeks of back and forth, and wasted a whole month I could have spent getting my truck lettered. The worst part is I almost put it on a $400 banner order before my wife pointed out it looked like a kids juice box mascot. Now I am starting from scratch and I need real advice on what to actually ask for so this does not happen again, cause clearly I do not know how to spot a bad deal when I see one.

Three hundred bucks is kind of the danger zone on there, cheap enough to trust, too much to gamble.
