Had a logo disaster at a farmers market last Saturday

I was selling at the local farmers market in Burlington and my booth banner looked like a blurry mess from 10 feet away. Turns out the logo I designed had way too much detail for a 3x6 banner, so now I'm rethinking the whole simplicity approach. Has anyone else had to completely strip down a design after seeing it in actual use?
