A print guy in Omaha told me my orange only looked bright because my screen lies, and he was right
I was at a sign shop in Omaha getting a banner made for a food truck, and the guy behind the counter pulled up my file and just shook his head. He said my orange looked neon on my laptop but would print like a rusty pumpkin, and he showed me the numbers, it was off by a lot. I had picked that color by eye, no color code, just dragging a slider until it looked good. Turns out screens and printers speak two different languages and I never knew. What do you all do to check colors before you send a file off?
