Took on my first solo client project and it actually came together

Last month I landed a small branding job for a local coffee shop in Portland. I was nervous because I usually just do print work, but I designed their whole menu board and takeout cup labels. Saw the owner post a photo on Instagram this morning showing the before and after, and it hit me how much better it looked. Has anyone else had a moment where you finally felt like you knew what you were doing?

The universe balancing out, you had to survive the "wait does this look right?" phase first. (Spoiler: it always does).

Never had that phase work out for me honestly, still waiting for things to look right.
