The thing people get wrong with client contracts...
I see agency owners all the time writing contracts that are basically just a price and a date. Last month I had a client in Austin try to add 4 extra rounds of revisions after we already agreed on 2, and my contract was too vague to fight it. I sat down with a lawyer buddy for 2 hours and rewrote everything to spell out scope creep in plain English. Has anyone else had to eat hours because your contract didn't cover the obvious stuff?

Four extra rounds of revisions?!" Man, that's brutal. I mean, who even needs that many changes unless they're just moving boxes around for fun? I learned the hard way too that spelling out scope creep in plain English is the only way to keep things fair for everyone involved.
