Switched my onboarding after a call with a 15-person agency in Chicago

I always thought more automation upfront was better, but this owner said they hand-write welcome notes and it cut their churn by 40%. It made me realize I was treating clients like numbers instead of people. Has anyone else found that slowing down actually builds faster trust?

That personal touch makes people feel seen, way harder to fake at scale.

You said "way harder to fake at scale" and that's what gets me. Are you actually doing handwritten notes yourself or did you find some service that makes it look real without being fake? Because I've looked into this for my own thing and the options seem to either be you spending hours writing or you paying some company that prints them in a fancy font. Neither really hits the mark. What's your method for pulling it off?
