One Thursday last month my entire team called out sick and I somehow landed a $12k retainer solo

I handled three discovery calls, fixed a broken ad account mid-flight, and sent a proposal before noon with zero backup, and now I'm wondering if my agency runs better when I'm the only one in the chair, has anyone else had a freakishly productive day like that?

That thing you said about "wondering if my agency runs better when I'm the only one in the chair" really hit me. I've had days like that where everything just clicks and I'm flying through tasks without any of the usual back and forth with team members. It makes me wonder if sometimes we pile on too many people when what we really need is just one focused brain who knows what they're doing. But then again, those days are rare and usually mean something's about to break later because you can't keep that pace up forever.

Oh man, "something's about to break later" - that's the part that got me. I had a day last week where I crushed a whole backlog of tickets by myself in like four hours and felt like a superhero. Then the next morning I walk in and find out I missed a critical note buried in an email because I was moving too fast solo. Now I'm paranoid those perfect hyper-focused days are just the universe setting me up for failure down the road.
