Just realized I was quoting every project from scratch instead of using a simple template
I was spending almost 2 hours on every proposal, building the scope and pricing from a blank doc each time. Last Tuesday I was rebuilding the same 3 phase scope for a small web project in Salem and it hit me that I'd done this exact layout 14 times that year. I timed it that week and lost 9 hours total to work I could have saved in a shared doc. Now I keep a base scope with the parts I always write and just fill in the blanks, and my first draft takes about 25 minutes. How do you all handle the pricing side, do you keep a set rate card or build each number fresh?
