I hit 50 clients last month and felt like I was drowning

It snuck up on me. I was just taking on every lead that came in and before I knew it I had 50 active accounts. My response time went from 2 hours to like 2 days. I realized I was losing $1,200 a month just from late fees and rush charges on my own bills because I couldn't keep up with the admin work. Has anyone else hit a client count that forced them to hire or raise prices just to keep from burning out?

Had a buddy hit 45 clients and she started forgetting to invoice people. Ended up losing a solid $3k over three months before she realized. She had to hire a part time assistant just to keep the lights on.

Honestly I had a similar thing happen but with only 35 clients. @nora735 your buddy's story reminds me of my cousin who started showing up to meetings in mismatched shoes because she was so fried. She finally hired a high school kid to sort her paperwork for like 10 bucks an hour and it saved her sanity.
