Client told me my proposals were too vague last month

I had a client in Phoenix straight up say they had no idea what they were actually getting for $2,500. So I changed my proposals to list every single deliverable with a timeline and a max revision count. Now I send a 3 page doc instead of a paragraph. Has anyone else had clients ask for clearer breakdowns like that?

Vibes based estimate" ha. I used to think short was better but @the_shane is right, you gotta spell it out.

yeah I had the exact same thing happen like two years ago. a client in Austin told me my proposal read like a "vibes based estimate" which honestly was kinda fair. I switched to doing exactly what you're doing - a bullet point list of every tiny deliverable with dates attached. also started adding a "whats NOT included" section at the bottom because people will assume you're doing full brand strategy when you just quoted them for a logo. saves so many awkward emails later. the extra time writing it out is 100% worth avoiding that "wait i thought this included..." conversation.
