My total flip on growing herbs indoors without a grow light
I always figured you needed fancy gear to keep herbs alive inside, so I never bothered. But after my basil kept dying, I moved the pot to a spot that gets morning sun from the east window. It's been thriving for weeks now, maybe it's just me but I was overthinking it. I mean, idk, sometimes the simple fix is just watching where the light falls.

Your 'watching where the light falls' changed my mind.

oh wow, that's really cool to hear. i was just reading about how some photographers talk about that exact thing, like training your eye to see the patches of light in a room before you even notice anything else. it sounds kinda simple but it really does change how you look at stuff. i mean now i catch myself doing it all the time, just watching how light comes through a window and hits the floor. it makes normal moments feel different, you know?
