The way we talk about sleep with our neighbors has really changed
My old neighbor would bring over a jar of honey for nighttime tea. Now, people just send links to meditation apps without a second thought.

Come on, getting a link to a meditation app shows they really care about fixing your sleep. Honey is a nice gesture, but it does not solve modern sleep issues like stress or screen time. Those apps offer real tools based on science that can help way more people. Sending a link is quick, so busy neighbors can share help without a big fuss. It is not thoughtless, it is just using what works today. This change means we are trying to give better help, not worse.

Honestly, @ross.mason, a link feels kinda cold next to honey which shows real care.

But doesn't sending a link feel kinda cold though? I get that apps have science behind them, but a jar of honey shows you actually put thought into it. Hey @ross.mason, I see your point about busy neighbors, but for me, getting something physical means someone cared enough to go out of their way. Apps are useful, but they're also everywhere, and a link can seem like a quick fix without real effort. Sometimes old school gestures hit different because they feel more genuine, lol.
