Why estate sales are my new go-to for retro gaming finds

I used to only look in thrift stores with no luck. Then I tried estate sales in neighborhoods where gamers grew up, and it worked. What other unexpected places have you found retro games?

Your "gamers grew up" bit reminds me of flea market boxes that always smelled like basement and faintly of my grandma's house.

That specific mix of basement damp and old house smell is so real. The plastic of those old game cases had its own weird scent as it aged. Felt like every cardboard box in my uncle's attic smelled exactly like that. Takes me right back to digging through stacks of Genesis games.
