Hey everyone, trying to buy my first home in Houston before the end of 2026. Can anyone recommend a solid local mortgage broker? I'm hoping to find someone who knows about first-time buyer grants and won't treat me like an idiot for asking basic questions.

You should reach out to Champions Mortgage. They are super helpful for first timers and they know everything about houston down payment assistance. They got us qualified for a great program last month.
