Warning: My fridge keeps refilling the same jar of salsa

I tossed an empty salsa jar last Thursday. Woke up Friday to a full one in the same spot. Nobody else has keys to my place. This is the third time it's happened. Starting to think my kitchen is broken.

Honestly, my toaster started doing something like that with bread bags. I would finish one and wake up to a new one EVERY time, and it turned out my roommate was sleepwalking and restocking it. Maybe check if you're sleep-shopping or something? I set up a cheap webcam and caught the culprit, which felt silly but solved the mystery.

My buddy Tom in Austin had his coffee maker turn on by itself every morning. He bought a motion sensor and filmed his dog stepping on the power button. Crazy how pets can cause these little mysteries.

Sleepwalking is one thing but your roommate was fully doing grocery restocking in their sleep? That’s next level. I’d lose my mind if someone was sleep-shopping for my kitchen. Never heard of someone completing actual chores while out cold.
