Why does every garage cleanout end with me holding a mysterious key?
During my latest garage reorganization, I found a small key taped to the back of a shelf. I have no idea what it opens, and now I'm tempted to try it on every lock in the house. I even asked my family, but nobody remembers where it came from. It's funny how these projects always leave me with more questions than answers.

My friend Jake found a tiny brass key in his attic last year... it was stuck in an old book. He tried it on every lock in his house but nothing worked. Then he remembered his grandma's stuff was in a storage unit across town. He drove over and tested it on her antique trunk... and it clicked right open. Inside were photos and diaries from the 1940s that no one knew existed. Now that key hangs on his wall as a piece of family history.

Calling a brass key 'family history' is stretching it. Old trunks full of photos are pretty standard attic finds. It's not that deep.
