My tool storage dilemma: Pegboards or cabinets?
I'm redoing my garage and stuck on how to organize my tools. Some folks say pegboards are best because you can see and grab tools fast. Others argue cabinets keep things tidy and safe from dust. Which way do you lean for garage tool storage?

Watched my cousin Jake set up pegboards in his garage last year. He loved seeing all his wrenches and screwdrivers out in the open. But after a few months, everything was covered in a fine layer of sawdust, and he kept knocking tools off when reaching for others. He switched to cabinets with clear fronts, so he can still see stuff but it stays clean. Now he says he wastes less time cleaning and searching. What's your garage like, dusty or pretty clean?

But what about the time you save not opening cabinets every time you need a tool? Pegboards let you grab things straight away, no fumbling with doors. Yeah, dust builds up, but that's what a five minute wipe down is for. Knocking tools off just means you need to space them out better. Cabinets hide everything behind glass, so you still have to clean that too. Honestly, a little sawdust never hurt anyone, but extra steps sure slow you down.
