Warning: The coffee shop I work from in Denver just banned laptops after 4 PM.

I was there yesterday trying to finish a proposal and they put up a sign saying it's to 'encourage conversation'. On one hand, I get that places want to turn tables, but on the other, that's prime work time for a lot of us. Where do you stand on cafes limiting freelancer hours?

That 'encourage conversation' rule is rough, I just find a 24-hour spot instead.

Ever try a 24-hour spot and still get a dead chat? Sandra_anderson has a point about better talks, but sometimes the rule just kills the vibe before it even starts. Feels like you're forcing it instead of letting it happen.
