Showerthought: I saw a freelance contract template at the Denver library's business center that looked super outdated.
It was from 2015 and didn't mention anything about AI or data privacy. Has anyone found a good free resource for current templates?

That's wild but honestly not surprised. Libraries are full of time capsules like that, stuff just gets filed and forgotten. Makes you wonder what else is still kicking around on those shelves.

Actually I think it's the opposite. Most libraries are pretty good at weeding out old stuff now. They have to make space and keep things current. It's not like the old days where things just sat forever. Finding something that old is more of a fluke than the rule. Their systems are way better at tracking what's useful and what's just taking up shelf space.
