Noticed a huge drop in core shift after we started using the new 3D printed sand molds
Six months ago our scrap rate from misalignment was around 15%, but last week's batch was under 3%. Anyone else seen results this good from switching over?

Man, that's a huge win. Cutting scrap that much has to feel amazing. Really happy for you guys.

Right? I'm just glad I don't have to be the one causing the scrap anymore. I used to be the king of messing up those parts, so I feel personally responsible for half his old complaints. Now that we've cut it down, maybe @dixon.nathan is right and he'll just move on to yelling about something else, like the coffee being weak. Either way, it's a quiet win for my own peace of mind.

The scrap reduction is great, but I bet the real win is not having to listen to the production manager complain about waste anymore. He probably sounds like a broken record. Now he can find something new to worry about.
