Spotted a nice font match on the new diner's window decal

It pairs a thick, rounded sans for the name with a thin, simple script for the tagline. Looks friendly and clear from the street. What do you think makes a good combo for storefronts?

Thick and thin pairings work best. Clear from the street.

Hold on, is this about socks or like... life partners? Just kidding leoscott. But really, is it that deep? Most things that work just work, you know? Not sure we need a firm rule picked up from the sidewalk. Sometimes the messy, weird pairings turn out best anyway. Feels like we might be overthinking a simple thing.

Yeah, leoscott is onto something with thick and thin. It's like the main word needs to be a shout and the tagline is just a friendly whisper right after it. Makes your eyes know where to go first from a distance.
