I saw the best font pairing in a coffee shop in Asheville

I was at High Five Coffee downtown and noticed their menu board. They used a bold, blocky font for the drink names (I think it was something like Impact) but then a really thin, clean script for the prices. It made everything so easy to read from across the room (and looked cool). Has anyone else seen a good example of mixing a heavy font with a super light one?

Yeah but that's more of a visual design thing than font contrast specifically... @wren301 you ever notice how some places use a heavy font for the important stuff and then almost hide the prices in a thin script? Makes you wonder if they're trying to distract you from how much the drinks cost. Feels like there's a method to it. Have you ever walked into a place and just known they picked their fonts to steer you toward spending more?

That contrast trick works so well.

Remember that old photo trend where people would wear one red item in a black and white picture? Always thought that was a cool use of contrast. Saw a mural downtown that did something similar, just a single bright yellow door on a grey building. Makes your eye go right to it. Simple idea but it really sticks with you.
