Warning about those new 'self-watering' foam blocks for large arrangements, took me 3 days to figure out the mold issue

Wait, mold in just three days? That's insane. I've seen wet foam get funky after a couple weeks maybe, but that fast means something's really wrong with the product. What were you putting in the arrangement, just regular flowers? Makes me wonder if they used cheap materials that can't handle moisture at all.

Actually had some cheap foam last a full month once (weird, I know). Maybe oscarm24 just got a bad batch or the flowers had something on them already. Three days does seem quick though.
