I thought the 'talk to your plants' thing was nonsense until a regular at the farmers market told me his peonies doubled in size after he started reading them the newspaper.

He swore it was the CO2 from his breath, not the content, but now I mumble the weather report to my stock. Anyone have a customer story weirder than that?

Is it really that big of a deal if you just talk to them normally? I mean, @lucas972, singing feels like a whole performance. It's not like we're in a Disney movie where everything needs a soundtrack. Sometimes you just need to say the thing and move on without making it a whole concert. It just seems like extra work for something that should be pretty simple.

Honestly, how bad is the situation that you need to break into song? Like, are we talking calming down a crying baby or just asking someone to pass the salt? Seems a bit much for everyday stuff.
