Appreciation post: Baby's breath won me over with a wedding bouquet
I always thought baby's breath was just a filler flower, kind of boring and too common. Then last month, a bride asked for it as the main part of her bouquet, which threw me off at first. She told me it grew in her backyard as a kid and meant a lot to her. I agreed to try it, mixing it with deep red roses and some dark green ivy. The result was stunning, with the tiny white flowers making the red pop and adding a light, airy feel. That order showed me how a simple flower can turn special with the right story and mix. Now I keep baby's breath on hand for more than just filler jobs. What's a flower you once overlooked that you now like to use?

Disagree hard on giving filler flowers main character energy. Just because something has nostalgia doesn't make it good design. Still think it's overrated and looks cheap most of the time.
