Nailed the pattern match on a large format tile job today

I've been working with large format tiles for a while now. Getting the pattern to line up perfectly has always been tough. Today, on a kitchen floor install, everything fell into place. The grout lines are straight, and the client was really happy. It's these small wins that keep me going.

Large format tiles are a nightmare to line up. I can't believe you got the pattern to match across the whole kitchen floor. That kind of win is far from small.

Remember when we tackled our bathroom with those big marble tiles? We got the first line perfect, then saw the wall wasn't straight. Had to cut each tile on that side with a rented wet saw, but the final look made all the hassle worth it. That quiet moment seeing it done was better than any big celebration.
