Had a massive bubble pop up under some sheet vinyl in a kitchen in Phoenix last July

The slab was 95 degrees from the afternoon sun coming through the sliding door and the adhesive flashed off before I could even get the sheet down, so I had to slice it open, inject more glue, and roll it with a 100 pound roller three times before it finally stuck flat. Anyone else run into this with hot slabs in the summer?

Man that's brutal. I had a similar nightmare in Vegas last August, slab was 108 in direct sun and the glue was curing before I could even get the roll started. Had to do the same slice and roll dance.

Yeah I used to think people were just being dramatic about summer installs. Figured if you worked fast enough you could beat the heat no problem. Then I had a slab in Tucson that was so hot the glue dried in patches before I even got the roll half way down. Had to cut four separate slices and inject glue under each one. That 100 pound roller got a workout that day. Definitely changed my mind about how fast that stuff can set up in direct sun.

That 108 slab sounds rough, @terry_mitchell, Phoenix heat is no joke lol.
