Overheard a barista say 'that color looks like a bruise' about a customer's jacket

It made me rethink how we name colors in design. Calling a deep plum 'heliotrope' feels disconnected from how people actually see things. Should we use more descriptive, real-world names on mood boards?

Probably a sad beige rectangle next to a photo of a wilted salad. Mood boards are just fancy collages for feelings nobody can name.
