I noticed something weird about street fashion in Portland last weekend
I was walking through the Pearl District on Saturday and saw like 6 people wearing mesh tops over long sleeve tees. It was chilly out, maybe 55 degrees, and I couldn't figure out if it was a layering thing or just for looks. One girl had a black fishnet top over a striped turtleneck and it actually worked somehow. Has anyone else seen this style popping up in their city or am I just late to the trend?

Used to think it looked ridiculous but that turtleneck combo actually works.

Right, "used to think it looked ridiculous" is basically my whole wardrobe history. I wear that turtleneck now and I'm pretty sure I look like a confused magician who forgot his dove.
