I finally ditched paper patterns for digital ones after a sleepless night

I was up till 3am trying to grade a vintage dress pattern by hand and kept messing up the armhole curve. Switched to a PDF pattern on my tablet with a projector, and I finished the whole thing in 2 hours with zero mistakes. Has anyone else found that digital tools save you from those late-night fitting disasters?

That whole "sleepless night" thing hit home for me. My best friend spent a whole weekend crying over a bodice sloper she was trying to grade by hand, kept messing up the armhole curve just like you said. She finally borrowed my old projector setup out of desperation and had a wearable toile done in an afternoon. She says its the difference between fighting your tools and letting them work for you. So yeah, your mileage may totally vary, but in her case digital saved her from a full on meltdown.

Genuinely can't tell if crying over a pattern is dedication or just needing to touch grass, @theamason.
