Vent: I was sure those black metal window frames were just a trendy fad

But after seeing them on a renovated craftsman bungalow in my neighborhood, the clean lines totally changed the curb appeal. Has anyone else been won over by a design they initially hated?

Remember hating subway tile before it made my own kitchen feel bigger.

Same, I fought it forever but the white tile really does bounce light around.
