Breathing wood? That's a new one for me. @felixdixon I get what you're saying about letting moisture out, but when my neighbor's shingles curled they just started falling off. It looked like a giant was peeling the roof. If wood needs to breathe that bad maybe we should all live in tents.

Actually that curling might be a good thing. Means the wood is breathing and releasing moisture naturally. Could prevent rot from getting trapped inside.

Wait what? Breathing wood? That sounds like some fantasy novel stuff. If my floorboards start curling I'm calling it damage, not breathing. Moisture leaving should not make my house look like a potato chip bag.
