Serious question about bold house colors in my neighborhood.
Some neighbors love the vibrant look for breaking monotony, but others say it clashes with our area's style. Where do you stand?

Property values might actually take a hit from colors that are too wild. Buyers can be turned off by a house that looks really out of place on the block. Keeping resale in mind is a good idea, even if the current owner loves the color.

What's the line between personal taste and hurting your home's value? I saw a bright purple house sit on the market for months because it scared people off. It makes you wonder if some colors are just too big of a risk.
