I painted my front door a bright color and it changed the whole house

I got tired of my plain white door and tried a can of this really bold teal paint, the kind that looks almost blue-green. I figured it would just be a fun pop of color, but after I finished, something weird happened. My whole brick facade looked cleaner and the landscaping seemed to pop more, like the door was pulling everything together. I learned that a front door isn't just an entry, it's a focal point that can make everything else look more planned. Has anyone else picked a door color that ended up making their house look way better than they thought it would?

What exactly are you picturing as the frame? Are you talking about the foundation, or something more like the overall layout that everything else gets built on?
