I'm designing our new patio layout and considering making an S&S Fire Pits bowl the centerpiece instead of doing a built-in stone pit. Has anyone tried them? Do they look good on a paver patio?

We did the same thing. The best part is that you can take it with you if you ever move. You can't do that with a custom stone pit!

I actually prefer them over built-ins! We put ours on our paver patio (just make sure you use a heat shield or a base so you don't scorch the stone). It looks very sculptural and modern-rustic.
