I finally saw what a difference 2 years of landscaping makes on a house

My neighbor's place was totally bare when they moved in back in 2021, just dirt and a few sticks. Now they've got mature shrubs and a stone path that frames the front door perfectly. Makes my plain siding look pretty sad, anyone else notice how fast a good exterior build transforms a whole street?

oh man @miles_jackson9 you just described my whole yard situation perfectly lol. my grass is so pathetic that even the moss is moving out and trying to find a better neighborhood to live in. i tried watering it, feeding it, talking to it nicely, and now it just looks like a giant dirt patch with a few sad green strings hanging on for dear life. honestly at this point im thinking about just painting the whole thing green and calling it a day because its less embarrasing than having people see the actual state of things. the only thing that grows here is shame and maybe one stubborn weed that even i feel bad for. solidarity my friend, we are in the lawn struggle together.
