TIL my $45 investment in a proper headlamp for extractions was a total game changer.

I was struggling with shadows during a facial last week and finally grabbed one from the hardware store. Has anyone found a specific brand that stays comfortable for long sessions?

Comfort is huge when you're leaning over someone for an hour. Does the one you got have a rechargeable battery or does it take those little coin cells? The weight difference can really mess with the balance on your head after a while.

You ever have one of those cheap headlamps that eats batteries every week? Mine used to tilt forward like a sad little mining helmet after twenty minutes, lol. I switched to a rechargeable one and it's way better, but now I just forget to plug it in half the time. Balance is good though, doesn't feel like my forehead is doing a slow dive toward the ground anymore.

Get the Petzl Tikka, I've worn mine for two hours straight no problem. Super lightweight and the battery lasts forever. Not the cheapest but totally worth it for comfort.
