The great mask mixing debate of 2023 is still haunting me
For years, I would just slap on a clay mask and call it a day, no matter the client's skin. Last fall, a regular with combo skin came in and I did my usual thing. Her cheeks got so red and tight she asked if I'd used acid. I switched to mixing a little hydrating gel mask with the clay for the dry zones. Now I do a two-part mask on almost everyone. Anyone else mix their masks like this, or am I just overcomplicating things?
