Had to decide between a $500 chemical peel course or a new hydrafacial machine for my home studio.

I went with the course thinking it would bring in more clients, but honestly, it's been six months and I've only done two peels because everyone just wants the hydrafacial now, so has anyone else invested in training that didn't pay off like they hoped?

I bought a fancy microblading certification last year. My hands shake when I'm nervous, so now I just have a very expensive reminder that I should stick to what I'm good at.

Check if your course taught you how to sell the peel better.

Used to think training was always the better bet, but @phoenix845 nailed it - the real value is in knowing how to sell what you learned, otherwise it's just a pricey piece of paper.
