Man, I wish I had that kind of foresight. I spent way too long using a string line and a plumb bob, feeling like a caveman. My back still hurts just thinking about it.

My buddy Dave did the string line thing for years, swore it built character. He finally caved and bought a laser, said it was like going from a flip phone to a smartphone overnight.
