Finally got the call back noise down on that old Dover in the city building

It was a high pitched squeal every time the car moved for about a month. Turned out to be a worn sheave bearing that we just swapped. Anyone know a good source for those older Dover parts now?

Makes me wonder how many people just accept that kind of thing because they don't want to be the one complaining. Beth probably gets it, a month of tuning out a noise you can't control wears on you in ways you don't expect. My old neighbor had a leaf blower guy come every Saturday at 7am sharp for three months straight, no one said a word to him until I finally snapped. People just sit there hoping it'll fix itself.

Yeah that "lmao" is a survival laugh for sure. A month is way too long to deal with any constant noise. Hope it finally stopped for them.
